Thereafter off to Marigot- the Capital of the European Country of French St/ Martin for free time. Marigot is an appealing spot with brightly colored houses, a scattering of restaurants and lively produce and crafts markets. There during free time, visit the infamous old Fort Louis within walking distance or dine, shop European brands, jewelry and souvenirs and explore some of the local French culture at the fresh market. Home to an excellent array of shopping, quaint museums and galleries, there is something appealing for all at the spectacular promenade and marketplace. Should the border to Marigot be closed, off to explore the tourist area of Maho!

This was by far the worst and most expensive “food” tour we have experienced. We had traveled throughout the world and gone on several food and other tours and never had such a poor experience. We were picked up by a cab driver who had someone with him and neither were from the tour company. They dropped us off at some random “restaurant” that was more of a meal prep/takeout establishment. There was major confusion as they restaurant did not know why we were there. While the food was good and we had one type of wine it was Not what one would consider a food and wine tasting tour. Then they dropped us off to shop. Do not recommend especially for the high cost of $446.00 for two.
