45 min of fun in the sun on your jet ski. Speed across the waters of the Laguna Madre in South Padre Island Texas. Jet Ski departures start at 11 am until 6:00 pm. This last departure is subject to change due to sunset time change.A Jet Ski can hold up to 1 extra ride-along passenger as long as the total weight does not exceed 350 lbs.

IMPORTANT -TEXAS STATE LAWA Must be born before September 1st, 1993, and provide a Valid ID with picture and date of birth on it

Do up have a Texas Boater Safety Certificate? If so, you may then rent the jet ski at the age of 18th. You must provide the Boaters Safety Certificate Number and Valid ID.

AGE: Must be born before September 1st, 1993 and provide a Valid ID with picture and date of birth on it upon check in in order to rent a jet ski.
What if I am born on or after September 1st, 1993 ? * Great news! If you are 18 years of age or older, there is a Texas Boaters Safety Course you can take online to obtain a Texas Boater Safety Certificate. Upon check in you must provide a Valid ID with picture and date of birth along with your online Texas Boaters certificate number # in order to rent a jet ski.
Additional Riders: Each jet ski is able to hold 1 ride additional passengers ( Restrictions apply ) All passengers together cannot exceed the 350 lb ( 158 KG ) weight limit. Additional riders can only be booked directly through us.
Weight for single limit 250 lbs ( 113 KG)
Our activity check-in area is open-air and we do not mandate any customers to wear a mask.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

When I booked, there was nothing visible that stated drivers needed to be 28. It just let me book for adults without notification. So my son and I spent half a day driving and calling all over the island and Port Isabel trying to purchase a “deferral” that SPI Excursions recommended. We could not find any place to do this. So the company did try to adjust our reservation time so that we could find and purchase the deferral, but we were not refunded when there was no place to purchase the exemption to allow my 18 year old to drive. My only true complaint was that I feel the booking was deceptive as it did not state the Texas law and allowed me to book for 2 adults. To me, that is over 18. By time I found out about the law, it was too late to get a refund or to find an alternative solution. We never got the chance to experience this excursion, but we’re not refunded any of our money.

We had a blast! They gave us instructions, guided us out away from the dock and let us play for 45 minutes. it was a great adventure for our family. Four of our grandchildren had never been on a jet ski, so they loved the ride . It was great fun for all 8 of us
