I really admire that Surf City Tours didn't cancel or reschedule my Malibu tour even though I was the only passenger. The previous day I had a different (and more famous) tour company unapologetically reschedule my tour because the four people that booked in advance and showed up did not meet the 5 person threshold. I'm so thankful that Surf City has the integrity to conduct the trip even with one passenger. David was a great guide who really knows his stuff. I love that he looks for opportunities that are not on the itinerary. I enjoyed looking at the the celebrity houses and hearing the history of Malibu.

My friend and I were fortunate to have a semi-private tour with David. We saw several celebrity homes, including Leo’s and JLo’s, but the highlight was learning about the history of Malibu, wandering the grounds of the Adamson House, and viewing original Malibu tile. David is obviously passionate about his job and went out of his way to ensure that we had an informative and fun afternoon. Be aware that the ride can be windy, but blankets are supplied for those who need them. We were happy that we booked with a smaller company and not the more expensive and “touristy” Starline.
