Everything was perfect from the initial call with Kathy, who listened attentively and provided the best recommendations for our group, to Caroline who was our instructor and tour guide. Tip#1: It is recommended that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your appointment so you can sign the forms, try your helmet, and watch the instructional video (if you don’t watch it prior to arriving). If you don’t or can’t, no worries as the clock starts ticking after everyone is safely and comfortably on their own Segway. Tip#2: If you have teenagers younger than the required riding age of 16, call them ahead of time and they can make some special arrangements. Tip#3: Wear some comfortable shoes because you will be standing for almost a full hour and they DO get tired. The tour was a lot of fun and we learned a lot of history about the city and also some nice recommendations for restaurants, cafes and other good spots. Caroline was amazing and funny. She has some great stories and fun facts to share. She even took the time to write on a map where we went and some of the spots that were highlighted during the tour. Highly recommended. Next time we’ll do the Bonaventure Cemetery tour.

My husband and I did a Segway tour on Tybee Island. The Segway was easy to ride and so much fun!!! Carolyn was very knowledgeable about the history of the island. She was fun and great to ride around with. Next time we are in Savannah, we will have Carolyn give us a historic ride.
