We had a fun adventure on the river of grass! Caption Hank was very informative & friendly! A great ride through the various areas filled with wildlife! Caption Hank made sure I was able to see up close & photograph a flower I saw blooming along the way! Thanks so much! A beautiful day with friendly helpful caring staff! Best Regards! Right after booking my 3-day trip to Miami I immediately went searching for an organisation that could show me around the Everglades without too much hassle. Took some time to find The River of Grass, because there are just so many companies that offer these tours. But the deciding factor was that The River of Grass were about the only company to provide a tour around the Everglades without going to some alligator show afterwards. After booking online I received a few emails from Becky, finalizing the details for my tour. She also included instructions for the day and time of the event. On my gator day I traveled to the meetingpoint by Uber from my hotel near MIA. There I was greeted by Victoria, who gave me a ride to and from the boat ramp. Great service! I got joined by two ladies and our captain was Taylor. Off we went on this bright and sunny day! Perfect weather for gator-watching, we spotted about ten of them laying around in the sun. Taylor had so much to tell about the flora and fauna, and he did so without sounding like a broken record. Great source of information. A few of the gators were like his buddies and one of them even came towards us when he called her by making a sound of a baby gator. Then after some tries she even let him pet her on the back of her head. The 90 minutes just flew by. What a great experience!!! Thanks much all at The River of Grass and hope to see you again in future!!
