First we were greeted at the meeting point by the beautiful Victoria who led us to the spot where the airboats are (only about 5 minutes drive). It was an unusually cold day, but luckily they had heavy duty windbreakers for us to wear. Riding in the airboat is a unique feeling - so smooth it's like drifting on water. Our trip was semi-private and there were only 2 other people on board. The guide was engaging and knowledgable about the area and its wildlife. We saw about 5 gators and plenty of birds, but even without gator sightings I would not have been disappointed. The price was about $60 per person and they do not require payment at the time of booking which is really nice. It's an honest operation with no hustling. Pure enjoyment!

Amazing and thrilling ride where an airboat, exactly as those seen on movies, speeds along the wilderness of the Everglades swamp and makes stops for riders to take pictures of the exotic vegetation and the wide range of wild animals such as birds, snakes, crocs, gators and turtles in their natural habitat. Worth every penny

We made this trip with our two children aged 13 & 16. We didn’t have a private trip but an airboat that you could use with his 6’s and we were only 4’s so it became a private boat😉. Despite it being a bit rainy we had a fantastic experience. Mike was our guide/driver of the boat. He was very experienced and could tell a lot about the flora & fauna. An hour is also quite good in itself and does not necessarily have to book longer. Seen several crocodiles and beautiful birds. Especially nice that it is small-scale and therefore you get an extra special experience. Highly recommended!!
