Overview

We are the only outfitters that puts people on the seldom traveled Little Wekiva River. This trip is perfect for the adventure minded, quiet seeking, wildlife observer, birder, or folks who like traveling far from the crowds.

We shuttle you and your gear upstream, cover your launch fee, and then you just peacefully make your way downstream back to our office on the river. Expect to spend 3-5 hours on the water.

Called Wekiva Outfitters to set up a shuttle for my sister’s birthday paddleboard trip. They could not have been nicer! They recommended the Little Wekiva which sounded perfect for the length of time we wanted to be on the water. Bill helped us load and unload our paddleboards and equipment. Very friendly and accommodating. The Little Wekiva was beautiful with lots of wildlife. We saw baby alligators, turtles, fish, osprey, limpkins, and a bald eagle. It is so nice to know that there is a much-needed rental/shuttle business at the Wilson’s Landing. Thank you, Wekiva Outfitters, for making my sister’s birthday perfect!

The Little Wekiva and this section of the Wekiva River are beautiful and there is usually a lot of wildlife -- gators, turtles, ibis, egret, heron, limpkin and sometimes eagles. The river twists and turns. You never know what you will see around the next curve. Wilson's Landing is an easy place to launch and take-out. Wekiva Outfitters guides are very friendly and knowledgeable. A fun experience to be sure.

I am so glad to experience the real Florida by kayaking this beautiful river. It is so exotic and full of life! Greg Pflug is so knowledgeable about the local plants and animals and this makes the trip more interesting. Having good guides makes it safer, and I can concentrate on having fun, knowing that I will get the right equipment and will be taken care of. I highly recommend Wekiva Outfitters to all of my friends!
