Overview
This Ground Zero walking tour begins Battery Park where host will take you past Wall St & the NY Stock exchange as we head towards ground zero. We will visit St Paul's Chapel, known as the “Little Chapel That Stood”know as the oldest public building still actively used in NYC. It was a miracle that this church survived all the falling debris of the World Trade Center located 1 block away. Being so close family of missing loved ones used the fence as a bulletin board to post signs looking for missing family members becoming the heart of the rescue days following the brutal attack. We will visit The Fire Department of New York Memorial wall seeing what the first responders faced & did on this day & fire station located at ground zero. Entering ground zero or the National 9/11 Memorial built in memory of the 2,753 victim of World Trade Center attack as the plane crashed into Tower 1 & 2.

What To Expect
1
St. Paul's Chapel
St. Paul's Chapel, New York City’s oldest public building still in continuous use. Just one block away from the 9/11 attacks, it survived the falling building & debris. St. Paul’s Chapel served as makeshift rescue center. The iron fence became a bulletin board where family members posted notices of their missing loved ones.
2
The Oculus
The outside structure of the World Trade Center Transportation Hub, is the subway entrance and extensive shopping center. The name comes from the strip of windows, or skylights, along the spine of the roof. Oculus is the Latin word for “eye,” which, in architecture, refers to a round or eye-like opening with a view of the sky. Take a look up through the windows, and you’ll see Freedom Tower.

Simply bad! Booked through TUI Experiences, there was already some confusion in advance about when you should be where. The voucher lists various meeting points - when I asked, I was suddenly told that you could go straight to the museum, etc. I had booked 3 attractions in New York - but in the end I couldn't get into ANY of them. QR codes were missing and the provider was unreachable - neither for me nor for TUI. No one had ever seen a voucher like that on site and we were ultimately refused entry every time. Really poor - better to buy it directly on site, it's cheaper too. Pure rip-off.
