Our tour was today at 11:30. Unfortunately we only saw 3 gators but it wasn't for lack of trying or knowledge on the part of our captain (Chris Passmore). The highlight for me was the female gator with a nest of babies only a few weeks old. Chris was helpful, friendly and very willing to answer questions. I was happy to see that everyone we came in contact with was very respectful of the area and making sure to keep everything clean and not disturb the wildlife and ecosystem more than necessary. Chris did tell us that right now we're nearing the end of gator hunting season so the gators are probably more wary of the sounds of the boats. Since that's the case, I would recommend going out after the first week of November (hunting season ends October 31st). I'd go back and do this every weekend (or more often if I could afford it). So, I definitely recommend this place, the price is decent and an hour and a half is a great amount of time if you're a group of adults.
