I have to say this was the icing on the cake! I spent a week in Orlando on vacation from California, and I had the best time on our 2 hour tour... Captain Chris was great, Not only did we see some Gators, we were given lots of information on the marsh and its inhabitants... I know on my next visit I certainly will do this again! Hi , We went on an extremely hot day ; sat in the first row with a child of < 2 yrs on the airboat ride. Chris Passmore is very knowledgeable , funny and nice so we had no trouble taking the 6 and 1 yr old along. You need ear muffs coz it is a fast tour and the engines do make the required noise. We had the wind in our faces and stopped to see marsh birds, wild horses and small gators. We did not get to see the mommy gators since it was very hot but it was a nice trip overall. Only thing I would suggest is to not take a child < 3. Our 1 yr old cried initially - was scared of the engine noise and settled down after being held tight but I am not sure other kids will settle for being that way for 90 mins.

Getting some R&R with my wife and we both have always wanted to go out in an airboat. Capt. Chris was our guide for a generous 90 min tour of the headwaters of the Everglades. See gators in their natural habitat, learn about the eco system, and have great experience with a lot of wind in your hair. Take a break from the mouse, Harry, and the other parks and see the real Florida. Don't schedule less than 90 minutes. You will want more. We are planning our next trip, already.
