This is our most popular boat trip! Hilton Head and surrounding areas boast a large and active population of Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin, with great viewing opportunities year-round! Join Outside Hilton Head for a 90-minute cruise in one of our stable and comfortable powerboats. We will explore the Broad Creek Wildlife Area, Calibogue Sound and nearby marshes. Your Captain will guide you to points of interest, while explaining the unique connections between history, culture and nature in the Lowcountry. This tour is great for families!

What To Expect

Outside Hilton Head

Meet at our outdoor desk in Shelter Cove Marina. Here you will check in before joining your Captain on what of our safe comfortable boats. Find our desk in the far North end of the Marina next to Ela's Grille and the Harbormasters Office. The marina is on the beautiful Broad Creek, where you will start your dolphin tour.

Cancellation Policy

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Captain Gio took my family out for an evening dolphin cruise and we had a fantastic time. My kids are 15 and 13 and he did a great job quickly engaging them, teaching us all about the area and creating a very pleasant outing. He was able to find dolphins for us and it was really neat following them for a bit. Prior to the dolphins, he found two bald eagles for us and they were also fun to watch. Top notch equipment, first class captain - great evening!

Captain Wells Fulton is a native of HHI. His experience and knowledge of the island was informative. He was up front that we are guests of the water, not the other way around, so they can't guarantee a dolphin sighting. On our way out we saw many bird species, learned about oysters (not going to "spoil" it for you lol) and watched two eagles battle overhead. I'm from Ohio and we have a good population of eagles but that's the first time I saw eagles antangonize each other midair. We were fortunate on the way back to spot a dolphin a few times, then a baby appeared alongside and we got to watch them swim around us (very close to the boat) for about 20 minutes. I traveled in mid-March 2019. Even if I didn't see dolphins it was a great trip.
