My family and I chose this attraction because we have three little boys and we knew that riding in a monster truck would be so much fun for them! I knew the ride was BYOB, but since we were supposed to be the only family on the tour I didn’t expect it to be a problem. Unfortunately Joyride combined us with two more groups so there were a total of 13 people crammed in the back of the truck. There weren’t even enough seats for everyone- one person had to sit on a cooler. To make matters worse, as we tried to enjoy the experience as a family, the people we shared the ride with got more and more drunk, louder and louder, and more and more profane. We eventually asked the tour guide to let us off even though we didn’t know where we were or how we would get back to our car. Our boys are 8,6, and 4 and we couldn’t in good conscience continue to have them in the environment that the truck was becoming. We walked almost 1.5 miles back to our car in 90 degree heat. Unfortunately, we were making a quick stop in Nashville so Joyride was the only experience we had planned and it was quite a fail.
I do want to mention our tour guide, Luke. He was obviously uncomfortable and I’m sure he knew we were too. He tried hard to make it right and we would have really enjoyed his tour if not for the circumstances. Joyride needs to decide who it’s target audience is or not mix families with people looking to get drunk and rowdy.

We are sorry to hear that your tour experience did not meet your expectations. I did verify your booking in our system and it appears that you booked a public tour. I apologize if this was not clear when you booked. We do offer private tours if you book direct (not through a third party). Public tours are shared with whoever else books that time slot. We do our best to pair families with other families, but this is not always possible. It is our hope that mixed groups can be respectful of other patrons on the tour, especially when children are present! I apologize that this was not the case on your tour.
