Overview

This is your private boat taking you on an intimate tour to see dolphins in the wild, up close and personal! Just your group (up to 6 passengers) cruising the waters, watching dolphins eating, playing, and socializing. As a Low Country Master Naturalist, your Captain will provide an in-depth narration of the ecology around you detailing what makes Hilton Head so unique.

You’ll get all the time you need to see these beautiful creatures as they spend their days cruising the Calibogue Sound. See Hilton Head’s storied landmark, the Harbourtown Lighthouse from the water. Cross over to the other side of the Sound and see Daufuskie Island.

While on the Sound you’ll have a chance to glimpse other creatures that call the low country home; mobula rays jumping out of the water, spinner sharks breaching the surface, sea turtles coming up for a breath of air. Hundreds of species of birds that make their way through their migratory periods. This trip is a wonderland of wildlife to behold.

We may stop here with an opportunity for photographs of the lighthouse

The search for dolphins may take us into the Cooper River and along Daufuskie Island.

We took a private tour with Captain Mark on Thanksgiving Day. What an amazing experience. Mark was so knowledgeable about all the local wildlife and the river ecosystem. Plus, we got to see lots of dolphins. We highly recommend this excursion.

We had a great time on the water! Truly amazing tour, tailored towards young kids (if you travel with family). Captain is very knowledgeable, create relaxed atmosphere. We even explored marsh water. Highly recommended.

Everything about this 90 minute trip was great. Captain Mark promised us dolphins and we saw plenty! His easy going narration was filled with interesting facts about dolphins, the Lowcountry ecosystem and the island neighborhoods we passed by. The skiff was quite comfortable for our group of 5. We went out on a beautiful day and had an excellent time. Thanks Mark!
