Whether the roof is opened or closed, enjoy a full panoramic view of the city’s beauty from side to side and above. The 360° view is amazing to drive by the many Church Steeples and under live oaks to experience the unobstructed sights of Historic Savannah. Savannah’s Historic District encompasses more than 20 city squares laid out in a distinctive grid pattern by General James E. Oglethorpe, founder of the British Colony of Georgia in 1733. The 90 minute adventure starts from your Historic District Hotel or the city’s Visitors Center located at 301 Martin Luther King Blvd and tells the colorful uninterrupted story of the city’s past. The route examines the city Squares and shares stories of the colorful characters that have made the city so Lar the world. This was a great, informative tour. Chris was absolutely the best! We would do this tour again. I liked that it was a small tour and we weren’t crammed in with tons of people. The office people were extremely nice, especially when I called in panic code thinking the bus missed us!! Don’t pass this tour up!
