The Georgia Queen is handicapped accessible and is outfitted with a passenger elevator and handicapped accessible restrooms. The main deck of the Savannah River Queen is handicapped accessible, but restrooms are not. Please contact our ticket office with questions.

Our family had a wonderful trip during the Saturday lunch cruise on the Georgia Queen. We purchased our tickets online and had no problem picking them up at the office on arrival. We opted to do the lunch and I am so glad we did. The food was amazing! I wasn't expecting much with it being a Buffett but the salad with house made dressing, cornbread, green beans, Mac and cheese, shrimp and grits, and fried chicken had me coming back for 2nds and 3rds. Even my girls ate well. Our waitress Sha-ne was phenomenal she kept our drinks filled and let us know our table was reserved for the entire cruise. So we were able to go and enjoy the outdoor balconies then return to our table for the AC and a cool drink. (Water, lemonade, and tea were included, we didn't try anything else) We ended up with a window seat which was nice, but a little annoying when other people stood in front of it so I am glad I didn't specifically pay for that upgrade. Savannah is a busy port but not a lot of amazing sights. Even so we still really enjoyed the trip. We also had the added bonus of going by Ft. Jackson as the cannons were being shot. My only complaint would have been it was difficult to hear the narrator and I wish I had a book or brochure with some of the info so I could follow along better. Overall it was a great way to spend our day in Savannah.

We knew what to expect, slowly gliding on the Savannah River past barges and warehouses. The narrative was interesting. The Queen is large with plenty of room to explore different decks. Fort Jackson cannons salute was a nice touch. The only negative was the extremely hot afternoon we were here. Thought perhaps on the open upper deck we would get a breeze, but not much. Inside were plenty of places to sit but it was extremely cold. So I went from one extreme to the other during the tour. On another visit to Savannah, we will try this again, but perhaps in the fall, not a scorching southern summer day !

We were taken care of from the moment we stepped foot on the boat. The meal was great and the service even better. Wish it was a longer ride.
