The boarding ramps and main decks of each vessel are accessible by wheelchairs. The Georgia Queen is handicapped accessible and is outfitted with a passenger elevator and handicapped accessible restrooms. The main deck of the Savannah River Queen is handicapped accessible, but restrooms are not. Please contact our ticket office with questions.

Both riverboats offer a glass-enclosed climate-controlled dining and observation deck with panoramic views, open-air patio, and has numerous bench seats that line the upper decks for incredible city views and plenty of sunshine.. We got our tickets from a small booth located on the very busy road near the river, after having parked our car in the car park also near the river which was rather expensive but at least was located in a safe area as it was very difficult to find a parking space anywhere near the river: - hungry, we also decided to eat on the boat and had 2 amazing burgers with some very good chips plus drinks in those recognisable Savannah boat river cruises we now have home - the guide was very good and you could hear him from inside in the air con huge rooms or outside on the side and front of the boat where it was very hot in the afternoon late June - he talked about both Savannah and locations outside town as we went up and down the river all the way to Fort Jackson we visited earlier on that day at 11.30am during the cannon fire and now, as we passed by boat at 1.30pm, we witnessed again the second cannon fire of the day, which was also very powerful - a very good guide Should we be back, we would do this tour again.

The cruise was fine, we had fun, except... my husband bought 2 of the $25 daiquiris. His was a Strawberry Daiquiri, mine was mango. His was prenade and evidently had quite a bit of liquor in it. Mine was blended on the spot and had NONE. I thought perhaps it was just that there was less alcohol, therefore I wasn't able to taste it, but after we each drank our drinks (these things were HUGE!) he was drunk and I didn't even have a buzz. When you spend THAT MUCH for a drink, you most certainly expect the beverage to contain the alcohol that you paid for. It was very disappointing.
