Overview

- We are the only bike tour company that still bikes all the way to Sea Level, into the town of Paia.

- We do not offer self guided & unguided tours, they are not safe, most locals despise them, and they make all bike tours look bad.

- All of our helmets are light weight and comfortable, they also meet the highest level of quality and the highest level of safety. You'll cringe when you see the clunky, junky helmets other downhill bikers are given. You may choose to use a full face helmet, or a traditional half shell.

- Our tour is focused on quality and not quantity, unlike our competitors that herd dozens, even hundreds of bikers on a daily basis.

- With us you can ride at the pace you want, all other guided tours make the whole group ride behind the slowest rider.

- We easily have the best safety record on Haleakala.

- We have great humor, and we're very modest.

- All of our bikes are hand built in the USA, have very comfortable 13" padded seats with a spring for each cheek.

What's Included

Helmets - You can choose the style of helmet you wish to use. You can use a full face helmet or you can use a traditional bicycle helmet. We are the only bicycle tour business that offers both styles.

Fresh, Local Coffee

We will have jackets, pants and gloves for you to use if you would like to borrow some for the excursion.

We do not have soda or pop, but we do have gatorade and bottled water at no extra cost.

Air-conditioned vehicle

Bicycle - We provide you with the safest bicycle possible for this excursion.

Bottled Water - Gatorade - Fresh Baked Donuts on a Stick and Guava Malasadas from Komoda Bakery - Fresh Banana Bread - Maui Style Potato Chips - Kind Bars - Trail Mix - Fruit Snacks

Kyle and John were great, they didn’t just drop us off at the top like other bike companies, they stayed with us the whole time.

John and Kyle were excellent. My kids and husband had a blast going super fast, I on the other hand was so slow. John stayed behind me with the truck the whole time. Would definitely recommend for families with teens.

Today consisted of a 25 mile downhill bike ride. We were taken to the top of Haleakalā where we coasted down at speeds of 20-30mph. The views were absolutely stunning and we got to smell fresh flowers and eucalyptus on the way down. The upcountry has been my favorite thus far. There are cows, goats, and sheep that are free range. It reminded me a lot of the pictures of Ireland that I've seen. They took us through 2 cool little towns [Paia & Makawao]. Of course there were some animal encounters. Our guide found a Jackson's Chameleon and we got to hold her. She was absolutely beautiful. Then he also found a tiny bird nest that he had seen yesterday and there were eggs. Well, TODAY THEY HAD HATCHED!!! They were the tiniest baby birds I've ever seen. Had a great day thanks to Maui Easy Riders! Would recommend 10/10. Safety was their #1 priority and they were super cool guys. Thank you John and Kyle! If you're ever in Maui, definitely use them. When we come back, we will be doing this again for sure.
