Experience the oceans like never before! This truly unique immersive experience takes you on a thirty minute virtual "dive" through the world's oceans.

Choose from popular beanbag chairs or plush NBA courtside seats, all in an air-conditioned, comfortable space.

Everything you will see was filmed by our team, underwater, in 360 degrees capturing the moment from all angles. The footage is projected onto the inside of a custom-built dome theater that surrounds the audience, set to contemporary music with guiding narration. You will explore Catalina's lush kelp forests, get up close and personal with majestic whale sharks, soaring oceanic manta rays, inquisitive bull sharks, mesmerizing bait balls, playful sea lions and dolphins, and even a rare dugong. Plus much more!

Look for the IMMERSED Dome Theater at the Island Tour Plaza at 209 Catalina Ave, in Avalon. Wait at the picnic tables, an experience host will be with you shortly before your start time. Please do not try to open the doors, another show may be in progress.

Experience the oceans like never before! This truly unique immersive experience takes you on a thirty minute virtual "scuba dive" through the world's oceans. Explore Catalina’s lush kelp forests, get up close and personal with majestic whale sharks, soaring oceanic manta rays, inquisitive bull sharks, mesmerizing bait balls, playful dolphins and sea-lions, and even a rare dugong. Everything you will see was filmed underwater in stunning 8K resolution in full 360 degrees, capturing the entire moment from all angles. The footage is projected onto the inside of a dome screen that surrounds the audience, all set to contemporary music with guiding narration. Our mission is to create immersive exhibits that drive wonder, curiosity, and a commitment to ocean conservation using cutting edge technology. With this in mind, ten percent of your ticket price is donated directly to the amazing conservation groups affiliated with our filming locations, who strive to protect our precious oceans.

What a novel and genuinely brilliant concept! Shoot underwater footage using a 360 lens and then host a private viewing in a 360 theater. The footage was dramatic and stunning and it covers the underwater world of Hawaii, Catalina Island, Mexico and so much more. They have beanbags on the floor so you can soak in the overhead experience and the folks were genuinely sweet and engaging. It also helps that younger folks can sit in awe and hopefully walk out wanting to protect what they just saw. A true contribution to Catalina Island and I wish them the best. My only complaint was that the admission was high. It costs about $30.00 per person and the film is only 30 minutes, for the cost conscious, this might be a problem.

We agree, if we can get younger folks to leave caring for the ocean even just a little more, we are winning a small part of the battle. Thank you, too, for feedback on the price point - it's always difficult for a new (and completely unique) business to set their price. When you consider the ridiculous amount of cutting edge technology, lengthy travel, and (honestly life-risking) work that went into bringing these one-of-a-kind moments to our audience, we think it's way more than "just a movie", it's a complete experience. We also donate 10% of our profits to local conservation groups affiliated with the project, so that you are helping make an impact with every ticket purchased, too. Thanks again!

Its was great!! I really enjoyed the experience. Would do it again. Seats were very comfortable and the visuals were excellent.

Thank you so much for the lovely review. We lost a lot of sleep trying to make sure we got the perfect chairs for our guests, and we think we landed on the right ones (NBA courtside!). Glad you enjoyed the visuals, too!

I’m sure this would be a nice thing for families with kids, but for the price and experience, it was overpriced. It also can make you feel sick. I wish they didn’t serve popcorn, as the people munching away really takes away from the experience. It is a nice dark place to get away for 30 minutes though.

We truly appreciate your review, as we pride ourselves on providing a comfortable and unique experience from start to finish for all guests. As was noted when you purchased your tickets, we request all visitors to arrive 15 minutes prior to the movie time, to be introduced to the experience and get settled in. Unfortunately your group of six arrived late for the movie. We then also had to halt the start of the movie when your party asked for popcorn. Fortunately the other paying guests in your showtime didn't mind these distractions. We did our best to make your party happy under these unusual circumstances. To date we have not had reports of others feeling nauseous during the move, but do appreciate your feedback, as it helps us revisit and refine our scenes.
