It was our first time in LA & we had a limited time that we were staying. The trouble was we had a list a mile long of where we wanted to visit. So we thought it might be best to organise a private tour…..Thank goodness we did. Jasmine was great, she asked what we most wanted to see & then worked out an itinerary for the day. We would never have seen so much without Jasmine expertly driving us around & the stories she told us about the history of some of the places we visited made it even more special & interesting. At the end of the tour we asked Jasmine to drop us off at Santa Monica (we were staying in Hollywood but could make our own way back) so we could look around there too & she was most obliging & didn't mind at all. Jasmine took time though to show us where to catch the train from & explain the train routes & stations we would need which really helped. Jasmine was a delight to spend the day with, we felt so much more informed about LA after our tour.Both my wife & I would thoroughly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a professional, friendly & competent guide around LA. Thanks Jasmine for a great time you made our time in LA very special.

When I decided to find a private tour, I found Jasmine on the toursbylocals.com website. From the first email I sent to Jasmine to plan a surprise private tour for my daughters, Jasmine was very responsive. Not only did she reply to all my emails timely she also called me to discuss. I gave her an agenda of the sites that we wanted to see and told her about both of my daughters interests. She picked us up on time and was very friendly. Talk about a personalized tour--since we were staying in Laurel Canyon (Hollywood Hills) she put together a playlist of Laurel Canyon musicians. In addition to taking us to all the sites I had on our agenda, since my one daughter is a singer/songwriter, she also took us by Capital Records, Ringo Starr's home, Elton John's part-time condo, and Michael Jackson's house. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the area, history and facts. She answered every question my daughters had. She knew the best places to park, so that we could quickly maneuver, best places to take pictures and gave us tips as we visited each site. She truly gave us a personal tour of the top sites and then some in 5 hours!!! It was well worth it. I would highly recommend Jasmine to anyone interested in a personal tour of the LA area--you will be pleased!!!

On our recent trip to America we had one full day in LA and spent this with Jasmine on a private tour. Correspondence prior to the tour was excellent and prompt. From the get go it was everything we wanted and more. Extremely informative, enjoyable and stress free. We saw more in a day than we could have possibly seen by ourselves. With wonderful recommendations from Jasmine, we saw a side to LA that we didn't expect. Highly recommend!
