What a wonderful surprise!! My wife and I have passed by the Red Skeleton Tribute Theater going to and from work for over two years. We often said we needed to go see that show. Fortunately, I finally got around to ordering tickets. We went to the afternoon show yesterday, 11/29/21. Brian, aka, Red, met us in the lobby. After chatting with his guests, he became our usher. I ordered premium tickets which put us on the front row. The theater is small, so all the seats are good. Before the show started, Brian told a few jokes and introduced us to his puppy who did some tricks for us. The show itself was excellent, lasting almost two hours. I have not laughed so much in years. With his makeup, Brian looks like Red. His mannerisms reflect many years of practicing Red. He did routines I remember from Red’s TV show. He did many of Red’s characters, Freddy the Freeloader and the sea gulls, Gertrude and Heathcliff were my favorites. As Gertrude said as she flew over Washington, “There are so many targets here! I wish I wasn’t out of ammunition!” That was a joke from almost 60 years ago. Amazing how things have not changed. He also did the explanation of each word of the Declaration of Independence, a performance that got Red fired in the early days of political correctness. If you ever enjoyed Red Skelton, America’s clown and his clean humor, I highly recommend this show.

Brian Hoffman did an amazing job at the show, A Tribute to Red Skelton! My husband and I attended the show one afternoon, while we were visiting the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area. We thoroughly enjoyed the show, lots of good laughs remembering Red Skelton. Brian was not only very funny, he provided interesting information about Red Skelton's life. We would highly recommend attending this show!

My husband and I enjoyed being taken back to our youth when watching The Red Skelton Show was part of our weekly routine. This tribute was a fun way to spend a couple hours one afternoon in Pigeon Forge. We paid the extra to have close-up seats, but the theater is small enough that any seat would be a good seat.
