We had never been to a luau before and we found this to be an excellent show. The food was amazing, the emcee was very entertaining and the performers were top notch. There was a lot of variety of food and acts. So glad we made this part of our Big Island experience.

Nice rooms great view staff very nice- food spendy but that’s everywhere at hotels on the island- nice area to take a morning walk

It was our first time at a Luau on the Big Island and we went to the Royal Kona. We were disappointed because we had to Luau inside because of the threat of rain. We had a large party of over 25 people, many who have never experience a luau, so we were hoping the could get the full experience. Even the pig coming out of the ground was done before because of the rain threat...of course it didn't rain. The management team, whom we had to use is fantastic, as are all the servers. The show was great and entertaining. I'd say the food was the best I'd ever had at any luau and everyone in our party really enjoyed it.

Aloha, Thank you for feedback! We are so sorry that you did not enjoy the outdoor location due to the threat of rain. Being a tropical island, the flash rains are sudden and can ruin dinner and the performance for many guests, therefore we moved the show indoors.
