The best part of the luau was the show--everything else needed a lot of work. First, we waited over 30 min outside to get into the tiny venue. They must've crammed about 300 people into a space meant for 75! The tables were super narrow and sat unevenly on the ground with old plastic green tablecloths and old plastic chairs. They were in so tightly that it was hard to walk between the tables. The mai tais, although free, were WEAK or not alcoholic. Even with the additional shot of "rum" they had no effect. Then we just sat and waited an hour before the food line opened and they missed a great opportunity to educate us about the Hawaiian culture. When the food lines opened, they released us by tables, and those with reserved tables got to go first. It seemed everyone had reserved tables as we were almost last. The food was okay--some of the foods were better than others and some were bland and tasteless. The best part was the Kahlua pork and probably the only thing that saved this review from getting a lower rating. It wasn't until the food line closed that the show started and then lasted about 40 min. Next time on the island, we will look into another luau that is more authentic. By the way, at $100 per person, they cram people in here like this every night and make hand over fist for mediocre service and food. Save your money and choose another place!

Aloha Thank you for your review of our luau. We appreciate you sharing your experience with us and allowing us the opportunity to see the event through your perspective. We strive to provide our guests with an authentic Hawaiian experience and it appears we did not fully meet your expectations with your recent visit. We will be sure to review your valuable feedback to see where we may improve our guests overall experience and we are sorry to see we will not have the honor of entertaining you again in the future. Warmest Aloha Tara

For the price I expected good, traditional Hawaiian food. There was some but how traditional are potato and macaroni salad, iceberg lettuce salad, tomato salad, and pineapple upside down cake? The show was terrific. Great costume changes, energetic or fluid dancing, and good explanations

Aloha, We appreciate your feedback regarding your experience. We do have other dishes at the luau, such as roasted pig, steamed Mahi Mahi, and coconut cake. Our full menu is located on our website directly as well. We are very sorry that you do not feel the options were authentic enough. We are happy to read that despite the above, you enjoyed the show! Our performers do their best to put on an unforgettable night and we are delighted that you enjoyed it. We hope to welcome you back again in the future! Mahalo, Zareena

This organization does not care about your experience at all. We were rained out during dinner like pouring down rain! I have little kids so we had to leave and literally saw 1 dance. I called immediately and left a message with 0 response. I made a second attempt to reach out and received an e-mail saying my concern was being forwarded however I have again yet to hear back. It's been 1 week today since our luau. We have now returned home. Had this been addressed immediately we would have been happy to come another night to watch the show. At this point I feel I waited a week for them to contact me before posting a negative review but since upset patrons do not matter to them I felt it should be posted so others could be aware. I never expected them to be able to control the weather but I do expect that you can call your guests in timely manner to discuss their concerns. The lack of care is what made this a negative experience for us. I would never recommend this to anyone.

Aloha, We are very sorry to read about your experience. We always want guests to have the best time at the luau, but sometimes Mother Nature intervenes. We do cancel or move the show in advance if it is raining (and contact the guests), but of course we cannot control if the rain starts in the middle of the show. We do care about all of our guests and are very sorry to have disappointed you. Please feel free to contact us at 800-222-5642 as we can assist with your reservation. Mahalo, Zareena
