We really didn't want to do super touristy things on our trip to Hawaii.... except for a Luau. I'm SO glad we did. This was a highlight of our trip. The food was FANTASTIC. I wasn't expecting much - just a cute show and ok food. No. It was really good, and the show was very entertaining. We paid a little extra for premium seating, but I don't think that mattered. Regular seats are ok too. I do suggest getting there early as it's first come, first served. Open bar from 5-7. Definitely worth the $$ and there's also a woodworker on site that has hand carved everything. He'll even personalize the piece you choose with your name/date etc. I can't say enough good things about this Luau, I'd likely go again if I ever visit Hawaii again.
