It was ok. I expected better food choices. The show was good. The drinks needed a little help too! The views were beautiful!

This luau was held at the Royal Kona hotel. Entrance was very easy. One tip is to show up 30-45 minutes later to avoid sitting in the sun for too long. The Mai Tais , beer and buffet traditional style food was included and unlimited. The staff was helpful and friendly. The fire show was worth the wait. It was the best we have ever seen. If you are looking for good food and mai tais with an amazing fire show you can’t beat the $130 price tag. If you want the best meal and a bigger bar menu you will probably need to add another $100 per person at another Luau (which we have done in the past). The choice is yours. We were happy we chose this Luau this time around. Mahalo!

Well, didn't have the stellar experience everyone raved about, but give it two stars for the show which was good (from what we did see) and the flavoring of the Mahi, Beef, and Pork. Our first table had a view of a tree and the staff was kind to move us, but our new seats were in the very last row. So when the show did start, we had a see of people and cameras to see over. My sons excitement about the show quickly turned to disappoint. If we actually wanted to view the show, we needed to stand. Sadly, the resort guest in the pool area appeared to have a better view of the show than we did. The other downside to our table position meant we were the very last guest in line to get food. By the time we were able to get food, many trays were empty or items dried out. Other guest were cutting in front of us to get seconds. Overall, we had a disappointing experience.
