I come from a small midwestern town in southern Illinois, so I am familiar with ATV's and UTV's, four-wheelers, side-by-sides, etc... But I had never heard of Tom Cars. These were absolutely fun. Our guides were young (18-19) but they know their stuff and are ultimate professionals. It was rather dry the day we were there but I would love to do this again when it is wet. Fun and fast, but simple enough that even the most novice driver will have a great time. Anyone who has a driver's license would be absolutely fine driving one of these.

I really wasn't sure what to expect, but we had a blast driving the carts and since we were a small group we went really fast. The roads were dry so we did get dusty, but they provide rain gear and helmets which limits the amount of dust on your clothes. The views at the first stop were amazing, we rested there for a while and they provided water and granola bars for a snack. Then off again up the road to see a very small water fall. They also pointed out things on the trail which made the trip interesting. We traded drivers on the ride back so each person could drive. All and all a great day in the Forest.

We booked through the cruise line. It is pricey, but a lot of fun. Since we're paired up, would like to see prices lowered a bit, but do understand that the season is a bit short. My wife hadn't driven off-road before, so I drove first. The guides were great and knowledgeable. The views are spectacular. Was great learning about the area and vegetation. Spruce tips are tasty! The crew at the shop, led by Bethany(?) were great.
