Want to do something fun and exciting on your vacation? Well then, come join me for a fun photographic adventure here on Kauai? Sure I do weddings and all the events other photographers do, but my specialty is adventure photography! Lets arrive at a breathtaking location; and make beautiful pictures together! I have inside local knowledge of all the must see locations here on Kauai which are hidden from the eyes of most visitors like beaches waterfalls, cliffs and sea caves! Exact locations will depend on abilities of group and weather, so contact us directly if you have questions? With this reservation you will receive 5 free edited professional photos from the shoot, possibly more if you write a review about your experience in a timely manner, then you will have a link sent to you where you can have access to all the photos from the shoot with a light edit for a small fee per photos..Please remember to confirm your reservation at lease 24 hours in advance.

What To Expect

I can except couples, families or even large wedding parties! And only need a few days, approx 48 to return your beautiful imagery. Each photographic adventure takes approx 2-5 hours depending on the abilities of the group. So if you have some time lets explore this beautiful island together you will not be disappointed! Hiking or paddling to beautiful location on Kauai will be a wonderful experience, capturing these moments with photography is the best way to save your memories. With this booking you will receive 5 edited photos. You will also receive access to our personal website where you will have over 150 additional photos to chose from and download for additional charges. Please contact us 24 hr before departure to confirm location and wardrobe details!

I am disappointed with Chris' customer service before and after our shoot. There were various minor communication issues, but most importantly I should have followed up more insistently on the need to receive the promised confirmation email with all of the details of our tour (including pricing and photo quantity to be delivered). As for the photo results, the majority of the photos were out of focus, washed out by the camera flash or dark with shadows. I have looked at albums of other clients and do not see any evidence that this is how Chris' photos normally turn out. He had a bad day. I'm sure that happens to the best of photographers at some time or another. However, I am surprised that he provided me with poor quality photos rather than calling me immediately upon reviewing the photos to give me the bad news and offer me another shoot or a refund. I should have found a way to review the photos on a computer prior to leaving the island. If I had, maybe we would have found an opportunity to schedule another shoot. Reviewing photos on a cell phone isn't good enough.

We met the photographer at a Burger King and drove to a trail to get waterfall pictures. The photographer was cordial and pleasant and we were able to make a relatively quick plan. He chose a waterfall that was decent looking and provides a nice tropical feel. There is always something people would change about an experience and I am no different. I would start by not suggesting a slow, easily enamored child could use walking sticks...though it was professional and nice to all be offered walking sticks for the hike, it cost us an extra 30 minutes travel time which could have been used to take pictures. Secondly, be forthwith about when you are starting and when you are stopping the session. It was confusing not knowing when our shoot was over...we had thought you waited for us to follow you back to the beach for a few pics. Had we known you were not waiting for us, we would have returned a different route than the way you chose. Otherwise, it was a pleasant experience and we would probably repeat it. He knew how to get us and our 2 year old into position quickly and his shots demonstrated his experience.

We are happy to hear that you would repeat this experience. We always suggest that our customers communicate with us so that we can know their needs. We offered the hiking poles to your family because you needed them for safety. Kauai is known as the garden isle. Meaning that it always rains! Most trails get washed up and muddy so we do our best to prepare you for these adventures. One slip could ruin your vacation and we do not want you to experience that. It's always best to be safe on trails even if it takes additional time. Hiking poles stabilize your footing which is essential to hiking in bad weather. As for the beach session we are sorry that you did not get to the beach on time. The total time on the experience at the waterfall took approximately more than 3 hours which is why we did not get to accomplish this. Hopefully next time you visit we can do more for you and make this experience a trip of a lifetime!

Our photographer Chris was amazing! After getting to know our family we headed out to a beach to start our photoshoot. Chris was very personable and great with the kids. After finishing up at the beach we headed off to a well known waterfall and Chris expertly guided us down the steep hike to the base of the falls. It was a fantastic adventure and Chris captured it all working very patiently and professionally to get all the best pictures. Thanks again Chris!
