Adventure Tour - Grand Canyon West Rim with Skywalk (ADV)

Overview

Travel by airplane directly to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon for a 10 minute helicopter ride to a plateau near the bottom of the Grand Canyon.

The next stop is the world famous Skywalk. This architectural marvel extends 65 feet over the edge of the Canyon, with its 4,000 foot depth right beneath your feet.

Just outside the Skywalk you will experience the Hualapai Indian Culture through Native American Performances (occasional) and an Indian Village with ancient dwellings constructed in the traditional methods by local tribes. This area of the Canyon, known as Eagle Point.

The next stop on the tour will be Guano Point. This location offers one of the most scenic places to enjoy lunch (provided with the tour) at an outdoor eating area on a plateau surrounded on three sides by the magnificent Grand Canyon. After your lunch, enjoy a leisurely walk along a trail that extends out into the Canyon and enjoy the spectacular views and photo opportunities

I came to Phoenix to visit my son for his Birthday. I wanted to do something special and we both had never been to the Grand Canyon.The
Westwind Air Service went out of their way to make this special for us. Thank you Karla. Great flight to Grand Canyon. Lots to see to and from. Helicopter ride into the Canyon thrilling. The boat ride on Colorado River really puts all in prospective. The Skywalk was thrilling. Lunch was good and great opportunity to walk around after lunch. Having the pilot guide us through all of this was very important because signage is not always clear to understand where to go. I would recommend this trip. Also does not take all day like other bus /van trips. My son and I now have a lovely memory to cherish with great photos too.

Excellent. In a short period of time we went to Grand Canyon by plane, then by helicopter down to the colorado river and after all by boat. We take lunch and visit the skywalk. Then back to Phoenix. Overall it took 7 hours. Very good for those one that do not have much time. Everything perfect and everyone from the staff was very kind. Recomend.

Fantastic tour - worth every penny. Flight was neat in 9-seat plane to Grand Canyon via Sedona. Amazing scenery from the air. Helicopter tour into canyon and boat ride gave much different perspective from viewing canyon at rim. Skywalk was scary when looking down almost 2000 feet, but has to be experienced. Pilot was very pleasant and helpful and coordinated the entire day. Would highly recommend this tour.
