We had toured Newport from the land, but wanted to get out into the water to see the beautiful boats and those Gilded age mansions that are only visible from the water .We are so happy we discovered the Gansett. We felt like we were on our own private yacht, cruising close to the shoreline and then into the magnificent Naragansett Bay to view hundreds of sailboats and awesome "mega-yachts." The Gansett is spotless, more comfortable than a sailboat with its cushioned shaded seats on the main deck or the open air sun deck. John, the tour guide offered the perfect mix of fascinating historical information and funny commentary. You get a complimentary frozen lemonade or milkshake and the cash bar offers low priced cocktails, wine and beer as well. My Moscow Mule was delicious!! Overall for a 90 minute trip that costs only $26, it was a tremendous bargain. Our tour was certainly the highlight of our trip and a cherished memory. Thank you Gansett!!

The Gansett Cruise was a lot of fun! my family and I went during the sunset cruise and it was fantastic. The views were stunning, the stuffie and champagne were great and our dog was able to come on with us. John the tour guide was funny and very informative on Newport history and we enjoyed our ride.
