The staff and crew of Gansett Cruise made the last night in Newport quite memorable. Although we were delayed by traffic, they graciously waited the extra 5 minutes while we ran to the dock. Kyle helped with directions to the nearest parking lot and had me on the phone til I got there. I would like to thank the passengers and crew for their patience. Chris' narrative of the local history of Newport was informative and entertaining. Commodore Jeff was kind enough to indulge me in some maritime history regarding the Presidential Yacht. The cruise ended with the perfect sunset that only a dedicated crew can provide. Thank you so much for the perfect memory. Until next time.

First of all the boat is spotless and roomy. 90 minutes was perfect as any longer than that and I start getting queasy. Our guide for our 10:30 Saturday morning cruise was Christopher. He was funny and knowledgeable. He was also adorable and handsome ;--) which added enjoyment to MY time! It was nice to see Newport from a different side. Certainly worth the cost of admission. I also felt safe on this boat. I'm usually a little nervous around the water.

After being bumped off the 4:30 cruise for an insufficient number of passengers, we signed up for the 6:30 sunset cruise and it did not disappoint. John, our tour narrator, was informative and funny. He gave us information on the history of the ships, homes and structures we saw along the way, with a touch of humor thrown in. We enjoyed a complimentary snack and champagne toast as the sunset to the west and the full moon rose to the east. It was the perfect end to our day.
