Afternoon Half Day Moab Jeep Tour

Overview
Our specially designed, open-air vehicles let passengers get a taste for four-wheeling on the red-rocks. Those looking to teeter the tires and surge with adrenaline cliffside need not apply for this tour!

What is extreme are the viewpoints, not the ride itself. Our routes cruise through crumbling canyons, gravity-defying hoodoos, hidden arches, and precious petroglyphs. In between stops for photos and exploring the sites, your guide will provide explanations of Moab’s insane geology and drama-filled history.

Moab’s surreal landscapes are an off-roading utopia. With sloping avenues of Slickrock and terracotta, getting to the backcountry of Mars on Earth is a surprisingly short commute.

While we’ve got nothing against a good old fashioned ramble through the desert, taking a scenic Jeep Tour can be a much more effective and comfortable way to reach the area’s signature sites.

What To Expect
1
Moab
Meet us at our Moab Office, where your guide will be waiting with a custom Jeep Gladiator ready to take you to the trails. Depending on which area we’ll be exploring that day, we may drive through town and along the highway until reaching the trailhead. From there we’ll spend about 3 hours traversing through red rock canyons, with plenty of opportunities to get out and check out the sites. Some trails are rougher than others, and we typically pick a more adventurous route for the afternoon tour versus the morning tours. However these trips are great for all ages, and are much more geared toward the sites, scenery and in-depth interpretations rather than extreme thrills. Your guide will share more knowledge about the area than you’ll know what to do with! Expect to hear about Moab's crazy geology, wild history, and ancient indigenous cultures. You’ll come back with a greater appreciation of how incredible and unique Moab’s surrounding landscapes truly are.

We took a Jeep tour in the canyons of Moab and ended at some caves. Our guide was excellent with providing details of our surroundings and keeping us safe but giving us some bumps for fun!!! We then did a 3 day Cataract Canyon River trip with our guides Max, Jeff, and the two Annies. They took care of us for three days and again provided us with some adventure through the rapids. It was a great experience that was enhanced with the guides of Mild to Wild. I would highly recommend taking a Jeep ride and rafting in Moab.

I actually chose the morning 1/2 day Jeep Tour and I'm so glad I did. It got hot by 11am. So glad we had the canopy for shade. This was a great trip, we did the Chicken Corners trail to Wind Caves. It was so beautiful and our guide Ben was so knowledgeable about the area. Learned so much...you just can't get that when you go yourself. Thanks Ben for making this trip so fun for me:) Would definitely recommend this trip.
