1
The Schooner Pride
Your cruise starts at Aquarium Wharf, where you'll board your genuine tall ship, powered only by Mother Nature and her incredible wind power. Once on board, watch the crew hoist the sails. Travel through waters that Blackbeard once anchored in, relax on deck, and imagine a time when the harbor was filled with these magnificent ships. You may bring your own food on board, if you wish, but not drinks; beer, wine, and soft drinks are available for purchase on board at your own expense.
2
Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum
While this is not a narrated cruise, the incredible crew is happy to answer questions about some of Charleston's most historic landmarks that you will see, such as Patriots Point and the USS Yorktown, an Essex-class aircraft carrier that played an important role during World War II.
3
Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge
Don't forget about Charleston's own modern marvel with an up-close look at the impressive Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, one of the longest cable-stayed bridges in the western hemisphere. You're welcome to help raise and trim the sails, or you may sit back and enjoy the ride.
4
Fort Sumter National Monument
See beautiful homes that line the Battery and famous Fort Sumter, where the first shots of the Civil War were fired, and watch for pelicans performing diving acts.

Had great sunset cruise on PRIDE. Sailing in Charleston Harbor was relaxing on moderately windy evening. Sailing out near Fort Sumter and near the Battery was delightful. A nice and slow view of the Charleston waterfront. I took my parents and they forgot about the Hot day and relaxed with the cool breeze. Great way to slow down and see the sights!

My dad and son recently visited and I booked the sunset cruise on the Schooner Pride - it was one of the highlights of their visit! The 84-foot ship is beautiful, the sailing conditions in the harbor are perfect, the crew are extremely nice and 2 hours is just the right amount of time. The crew does not narrate so you are free to relax and enjoy the ride. It was awesome to sail so close to Ft Sumter, see dolphins leaping and pelicans swooping down for fish, and see the beautiful city of Charleston from the water. They allow anyone to help raise and lower the sales and you really do sail - no motors running and total tranquility. I'll do this again for sure!
