Thanks to Kenai Backcountry Adventures and Kyle, our instructor, all I can say is this was the best highlight during my stay in Alaska!! From our first call to Kenai Backcountry Adventures, Kyle was very helpful with all the forthcoming wilderness hiking. With limited time during Alaska, Kyle voluntarily became our go-to person to make our trip one that me and my fiancée could never forget. He even gave us his phone number so we could reach out to him for any concerns or questions. I can assure that this type of customer service will not be found elsewhere. I wish we could have stayed longer and I can't wait to go back in order to explore more of Alaska with Kenai Backcountry Adventures and Kyle

Our guide, Kyle, provided an an amazing day in the Kenai Wildlife Refuge and on Skilak Lake. We were the only couple who signed up for the tour, and instead of cancelling (like other tour companies would have done), we had a personal tour. I can't say enough about Kyle and his expertise of the area. He blended the right amount of boating and hiking. The lunch was great on "Kyle's Island". This tour is a must.

We had a wonderful time hiking with our guide Kyle around Skilak Lake. The hike was only accessible by boat and we were the only people on the trail. The views from the alpine tundra were spectacular once you got to the top and we even saw Denali! Kyle was extremely knowledgable about the bush and good fun to hike with. I highly recommend KBA if you're looking to do off-the-beaten path activities in Alaska.
