Alcatraz Inside and Golden Gate Bridge Bay Boat Cruise

Overview
Enjoy two Classic Same Day San Francisco experiences in one day — a visit inside Alcatraz Island and an additional same day sightseeing Golden Gate Bridge Boat Cruise. Guests are assigned an Alcatraz boat and on the SAME DAY a Golden Gate Bridge sightseeing boat. Guests will be allotted enough time to experience both attractions.

Our tour is designed to be an easy package to experience two of the most popular attractions in one day. Relax as we pass along San Francisco’s breathtaking waterfront, passing under the Golden Gate and around Alcatraz! Learn the history of San Francisco Bay with open-air viewpoints and observe local marine life such as sea lions and more. Audio narration is provided.

Guests will be assigned an Alcatraz time slot by us somewhere between 8:45am and 4pm. We will assign your time slots and guests do not pick their slot.

Golden Gate Bridge
Allow 1-1.5 hours for this additional boat experience. This boat will pass along San Francisco’s breathtaking waterfront, sailing under the Golden Gate and around Alcatraz! Learn the history of San Francisco Bay in an open-air museum setting and observe local marine life such as sea lions, pelicans, whales and more.

It was amazing walking where Al Capone walked and hearing the voices of actual prisoners and guards. The cells are tiny and in a way it was sad. The grounds have interesting plant life.

Had a great visit to alcatraz. Very interesting to the audio tour. Lots of walking especially up hills. Would recommend this trip.

Alcatraz island was so perfect, but the golden gate tour was good but it doesn’t deserves a 5 stars, and the reason why is because the boat was EXTREMELY full and you even have a chance to have a nice pic. Anyways those tours was good.

The boat holds 1000 guests and you are not the only one to purchase this package. It is their right to fill the boat as they please and there was room for you. That is all that mattered! We do not like full airplanes or having to sit in the middle seat but that is how the business makes money. It would be nice to try the Disney approach by limiting attendance and charging you double for admission but its best to just ride the boat as intended to save the most money.
