Mark was wonderful! Knowledgeable, helpful, and welcoming. Loved the unique blend of experiences within this tour. Both wineries were fantastic and the Japanese Exclusion memorial was so powerful. Mark’s knowledge on the subject enhanced the experience tenfold.

Paul was an excellent tour guide very knowledgeable and accommodating. He knew all the wineries well and shared this information with us which made it fun and very interesting. We loved touring with Paul! The first winery we visited was Eagle Harbor winery which we loved. They had a beautiful tasting room and the staff throughly explained the origin of the winery and the wine making process of each wine we tasted. She was excellent! Our second winery was Rolling Bay winery and this was our favorite winery. We tasted in a barn surrounded by barrels and lights, it was a great atmosphere to wine taste in. Anton the winemaker entertained us with his winemaking and family history. He told us about the wines we tasted which was much appreciated. We even got to barrel taste which was so fun. Rolling Bay winery was outstanding. The last winery was Fletcher Bay which was our least favorite because the staff did not speak to us at all, did not explain anything about their wines and overall it was not a good experience. I hope the owner of Fletcher Bay winery sees this so he can properly train his staff on how to do wine tastings which includes educating the customers on their wines.

Great experience! I didn't know what to expect when choosing this tour, but I was delightfully surprised. Our driver (I forget his name) was excellent and choices of wineries was excellent. I've been to winery tours at large vintners and small and have come to expect good quality from the larger ones and lesser from the smaller ones. I couldn't have been more mistaken. We received personalized experience and got to taste wine directly from the barrel for a yet unreleased bottling. All the wines we tried were absolutely delicious! So much so that my spouse (who only ever liked white wines) ventured enough to taste a variety and now loves reds additionally! The small vintners of Bainbridge know what they are doing and the relationship between the tour group and wineries made our experience all the more enjoyable.
