Come discover with us! Explore delicious eats in one of Portland’s hippest neighborhoods! The Alphabet District is a collection of unique neighborhoods such as Nob Hill, Slabtown and the Pearl. This area is filled with iconic local shops, fine dining establishments, hipster haunts, and local outposts for international brands. Victorian homes, repurposed warehouses, and new urban developments define the landscape in the Alphabet District. Our guides will curate a memorable three hour afternoon filled with the unique history of this neighborhood's culture and food. On this 1.5 mile foodie walking tour we will sample some of the best food and drink Portland has to offer, including locally inspired fusions, artisan cocktails, hip food carts, and more!

Allen took us on a wonderful eating/drinking/historical walking tour of Downtown Portland. The walking was not too far, just enough to work up an appetite. We had a small group of 7 interesting people. Allen gave us a map and pointed out many points of interest along our walk. Allen could study up a bit more on his Portland history, but the food was wonderful and diverse. We had appetizers, soups, meats, cheeses and finally wonderful ice cream! We also really enjoyed the beer/wine/mixed drinks. Allen was very nice and well organized. We would definitely go again.

I always sign up for a food tour when Im visiting a new city, to get a lay of the land and see where the locals eat. This downtown Portland food tour was fun and tasty and everything I was looking for. Our guide Allen took us to 6 restaurants, and we got to try so many different things that are local to Portland. We had some amazing seafood, drank Oregon wines, ate Italian street food from a food cart, tasted a few beers, had a cocktail and super delicious chicken, and finished with ice cream sandwiches. I highly recommend this tour.
