Na Pali Coast State Park

View the steep ridges and cliffs with incredible blue ocean below. Rainforest, streams and waterfalls that come cascading off of the steep cliffs. Considered a sacred place defined by its natural beauty.

Manawaiopuna Falls (Jurassic Park Falls)

Waterfalls and rainforest in Hanapepe Valley made famous from the movie Jurassic Park and only accessible by helicopter.

We took a Kauai helicopter tour in 1986 on our honeymoon. We are back on Kauai and could Not pass up the chance to relive this highlight of our stay! Yesterday’s flight with Steve was Great! His narration of the things we were seeing – and his sharing of his experiences were informative and entertaining. Seeing parts of the island we could never drive or hike to was unmatched. This “around and over” the island was a chance to refresh some great memories we made 39 years ago!

Our Air Kauai helicopter tour was absolutely breathtaking from start to finish! This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience (or twice for us as we flew with Air Kauai on our honeymoon 19 years ago), and we couldn’t have asked for a better pilot than Kelby. His skillful flying and wealth of knowledge about the island made the tour unforgettable. Kelby’s narration was informative and engaging, blending fascinating facts about Kauai’s history and landscapes with a genuine passion for the island’s beauty. He also had a great sense of humor that kept us smiling throughout the flight. His music playlist was also fantastic and designed to coincide with the views experienced during our trip. The views were beyond spectacular—towering waterfalls, lush valleys, the rugged Na Pali Coast, and even hidden parts of the island you can’t see any other way. The helicopter was comfortable, and the ride felt smooth and safe the entire time. This was hands down the highlight of our trip to Hawaii. If you’re considering a helicopter tour in Kauai, don’t hesitate—book with Air Kauai and ask for Kelby! It’s an experience you’ll never forget. Let me know if you’d like any adjustments!
