We don't offer any infant rates for this trip as the tickets are a per person rate. All ages will need a ticket.
Stars & Stripes is USCG approved to carry up to 30 passengers, but since COVID we have limited public capacity to 20 passengers.
Private charters are available for Stars & Stripes. Please contact Vagabond Cruise if you are interested to learn more about this option.

This excursion is a wonderful opportunity to experience sailing! As a past owner of a sailboat and avid follower of the America’s Cup, we jumped at the chance to sail on an America’s Cup yacht. The sail occurs within a bay which is extremely appropriate for giving excursions. The safety of the passengers was paramount to the crew. The Stars and Stripes herself is a historic vessel having participated in one of the yachting world’s premier events. Having seen her compete and then sail on her was a joy. The captain and crew made the sail so relaxing and fun and a few passengers were given the opportunity to sail her under the careful guidance of the captain (myself included). Light and changeable winds did not detract from our experience. Sailing on the Stars and Stripes was the highlight of our stay on Hilton Head and I would definitely do it again.

We did the Sunset Sail on America's Cup, and as it states in the description you have to sit on the floor of the vessel on stadium cushions. I will tell you that doing so for two hours is not fun and certainly not comfortable at all. It really ruined the sailing for us, as it was simply not comfortable for two solid hours, and there really wasn't anywhere else to go on the vessel, as it's relatively small. The staff was nice and professional, and it was nice being on the water as always, but 35 min into the sailing and we were counting down the minutes, which is a real shame. Again, the crew was great, and no complaints other than the lack of comfort.
