This is a one of a kind experience riding an electric skateboard on American Beach. Not only do you get a chance to see the largest sand dune in Florida, but you get to do it all while riding the island in style. We'll finish your experience cruising on the beach while everyone watches. Included in your tour will be picture and videos taken via Gopro by your tour guide. You get to sit back and ride.

If you would like to reserve an Electric Scooter instead of the Skateboard please let us know as soon as you book. This will allow us to set an Scooter aside for your adventure (Scooters are not allowed on the Beach).
You need to be on time and on time means 15 minutes before scheduled departure. If you cannot make it at least 15 minutes prior to departure time, DO NOT BOOK this tour. We have a strict on time policy so that each rider will have enough time to demo their Skateboard or Scooter
No shows will be charged full price, if you arrive late you will be charged the full price of your booking and you will forfeit your spot on tour. NO EXCEPTIONS

"Nana" is the largest sand dune in Florida!! We'll briefly stop here

The first home on American Beach purchased and owned by Abraham Lincoln Lewis, we'll briefly pass by and discuss the rich history of American Beach. Along this stretch we will also visit the Franklintown Chapel.

American Beach is home to several wildlife, turtles are usually out and about during our tour.

Last stop will be the BEACH!! That's right, we'll cruise on beautiful American Beach kick up some sand and enjoy the amazing view of the water and possibly see dolphins.

We were a group of four, ages 17-46. While we do have some athletic ability, we are not skateboarders and I am not known for my coordination. We all had a great time. Hugh, your tour guide and company owner, is a very knowledgeable and patient instructor. He is kind and energetic and he really was the best part of the tour, and believe me, that is saying a lot because this tour was incredible. We started by meeting Hugh in a parking lot near the beach. He took time to show us the basics of the boards and then had us do a lap around the parking lot before we took off on the tour. He also asked our music preference and played music though a portable speaker clipped to his belt (a nice unexpected touch). We spent the next hour cruising through the streets and learning about American Beach. I had no idea about the historical significance of American Beach prior to our tour and now I cannot wait to research and learn more. Hugh made learning interesting and fun. I promise you, neither you or your kids will be bored with the history lesson that is sprinkled into the skateboarding fun. One other unexpected surprise is that Hugh uses a Go Pro to take pics and video of you and your family and provides them to you free of charge. The level of customer service provided is unmatched. Long story short, buy the tickets, take the tour, have an amazing time.

Loved everything about today's experience! Hugh was fun, informative and very patient as I have zero experience with an electronic skateboard! I had to actually navigate it sitting on the board instead of standing because of my bad knees, and Hugh was such a trooper. He sat on his board in solidarity lol, and was just very encouraging. This was a fun and unique way to explore this charming town. Enjoyed learning Abraham Lincoln Lewis and his eccentric granddaughter, the beach lady, and seeing all the sites like the family's first home and the juke joint. Would definitely do it again and bring along more people!

Our group really enjoyed our tour of American Beach with Hugh. We never rode an electric skateboard before, but we all had fun and Hugh did a great job teaching and encouraging us. This was one of the best and most memorable activities we’ve experienced during a vacation. Just book it!
