Mystery Valley
During this 3.5 hour scenic and cultural tour through Mystery Valley we will be unveiling the secrets of the old legacy of the Anasazi. We will take you back to the past and unfold the mysteries as physical evidence reveals the authentic rock art and pottery shards where their sacred grounds still remain. As we drive alongside the painted walls and age-old dwellings, stories begin to slowly unfold. Silently we begin to discover and imagine the lives of these ancient forefathers. Following the prehistoric trails we also discover the eye catching natural bridges, arching across the desert floor, delicately connecting the massive sandstone rocks. Mystery Valley is like the undiscovered Country, where not many have gone and which few have witnessed.

After our original tour was cancelled last year due to the closure of the Navajo Nation our group of 6 was finally able to enjoy this remarkable tour. It does entail some very bumpy dirt roads but it is so worth it to see the incredible formations & remains of Anasazi life. Our guide, Harrison, was not very talkative but we appreciated the information he did provide and how he did not rush us when we stopped at various locations. His driving skills were also fabulous. What was interesting is that because this isn't the typical Monument Valley tour we did not encounter any other vehicles during the entire 4 1/2 hours. I want to give a shout out to Ralph for all of his help in making this experience possible.

Waited for 75 minutes for the tour guide to show up….he never did!!! So disappointed! Ended up taking a tour from a local in town AND it was $50 cheaper as well as being an excellent tour!! Now I have to wait 7-10 business days to see if I even get a refund!!! Very Dissatisfied and disappointed! I guess what that say is true, buy local!!

Cody is the BEST! What a gentleman! He gave my husband and me, the only 2 folk on the Tour, a Wonderful History lesson! No pressure or rush. Mystery Valley area is a Peaceful, serene and beautiful place to just breathe, listen to Nature and imagine the Life and existence of the Anasazi. Thank you for a delightful excursion! Linda
