What To Expect

Old Spanish Trail Zero Mile Marker

Explore the Old Spanish Trail Zero Marker which is the start of something huge, but actually this location is similar to the Major Arcana Card The Fool that you could possibly imagine. Seeing is believing, believing is not always seeing, in the Ancient City.

Huguenot Cemetery

Saint Augustines famous cemetery the Huguenot was built for burials dating 1821 to 1884. Folklore and Ghost Legends might appear as you visit. The tarot cards the Five of swords (I tricked you) and seven of swords (theft) are echoed deep in the the rich past of this cemetery, with a famous ghost who haunts, searching for his gold teeth. Also, the Ace of swords (inventions) would be a running theme with the yellow fever epidemic from the 1800's. and the inventions that were created.

Tolomato Cemetery

The Tolomato Cemetery in the Ancient City is home to Bishop Augustin Verot , 1805-1876 who in real life was embodied the theme of the Six of Pentacles (The non stop giver ) The Bishop was a truly selfless and a giver, and helped many. Also you will see the tombstone of Jimmy who fell out of the Tree, but NOT like the Hanged Man card.

The City Gates. Many claim to see young Elizabeth wandering around the Gates. You could draw wisdom from the Chariot Card and sense how people traveled through the gates in 1808, many entering the city, would be wishing they would be leaving their troubles behind them. Elizabeth was the inquisitive daughter of the gate keeper.

The Love tree is all about connection. Find out if this unique tree Is like the 2 of cups or more similar to the The Lovers card. This is up for interpretation, but only something as great as the power of love could draw trees together to make a love tree. Force of nature, undying love or a powerful combination of both.

A must tour !!! Lots of facts about this beautiful city ! Very knowledgeable guide . Myself and my children were very happy with this tour . Highly recommended.

Highly recommend this tour! Brittany is a wonderful storyteller. She is very knowledgeable about the history of St Augustine and shares the stories with such passion. We had been on several other tours earlier in the week so she tailored each stop to stories we hadn’t previously heard. She ended the evening with a personalized tarot card reading and was spot on for all of us!!!Overall a very enlightening evening!

Really fascinating tour so different from others I've taken in St Augustine! Brittany's knowledge of the city's mysteries is incredible but what is really astounding is the connection to Tarot readings! My wife and kids wanted to do the tour again!! A must do if you are in the city
