Overview

America’s “Big Apple” is an iconic city of landmarks and cultures. Visit the must-see sights, but look for the unexpected as well: the Whispering Gallery in Grand Central Station; a 12 x 20 foot piece of the Berlin Wall in Midtown Plaza; the catacombs beneath St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral; or lindy hop dance clubs in Harlem, birthplace of Swing dancing in the 1920s.

And whether a first-timer or a return visitor, get out of Manhattan! Staten Island Ferry is free and runs 24-hours a day, offering a picture-postcard view of the New York skyline and Lady Liberty. Walk the Brooklyn Bridge then stroll streets of iconic brownstone buildings and the Brooklyn Flea for vintage clothing. Catch the A Train (made famous by Duke Ellington) all the way to Queens!
