Overview

Located southeast of Lower Antelope canyon by the gateway town of Page, AZ. This part of the canyon is chiseled out by millions of years’ worth of flood erosion and impactful winds on its sandstone, enough to sculpt out the iconic "X" shape that aptly named the canyon. Canyon X is a relatively new scenic tour and the lesser-known cousin of Upper/Lower Antelope Canyon, which results in fewer visitors by comparison to the other two.

Canyon X is a nice mixture of the characteristics of both Upper and Lower canyon, with the Upper’s feature of pillars of light and the Lower’s steepness. Canyon X is also deeper than the other two by comparison, and with it brings ample photo opportunities. It truly is a great vacation spot for photography as well.

-Navajo Nation Park Permit Fee of $8/person is not included (cash only due upon arrival). The permit fee is valid for 1 day for any Navajo Tribal Parks.

Travel Tips:
-It is very dry in the desert region; please remember to stay hydrated, especially during hot weather.
-Please dress according to the time, season, and weather of the activity date. Comfortable outdoor shoes are strongly recommended.
-Sun protection recommended for sunny days: hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.

Waste of money and time. Please don’t book this Antelope Canyon X it’s a trap, it’s not actual lower antelope canyon and I have requested to cancel my appointment and they said no refund. Worst experience and waste of money.

Our tour guide was the best! Gabriel took amazing photos of us, did a cool demonstration of how the canyon was formed. We never felt rushed. He was informative and super personable. Many many thanks!

This canyon is soo unique. I would think it's not like any other canyons in the world. Note there are three tours of the same canyon at three different sections and owned by three tribe families. This one is X. The other two are upper and lower.
