We chose to visit Moab in late February. Unfortunately, most places were not open for the season yet. One place that was open was Navtech. And, Boy Howdy, are we glad they were.
We did not we'd be that interested in a full day back country 4x4 tour, one half in Canyonlands and one half in Arches. We did not think we were the type to enjoy the (occasionally very) rough road touring through the back country of the parks.
We were WRONG, it was GREAT! We are so glad that Navtech was the place open and the tour we got from them. There is a wonder in seeing things in the back country that only probably 3% of people who visit the park see.
So our, oh well I guess we'll do that, became Oh my goodness, I am so glad we did that.
