Arches National Park

Arches National Park has the world’s largest concentration of arches—more than 2000 of these amazing features. World-famous Delicate Arch can be clearly seen on this Redtail Air Arches Scenic Air Tour. This Moab, Utah park contains many other splendid rock formations including cliffs, fins, monuments, and pillars. Superbly colored and varied, views of these features are breath-taking from the ground, but even more amazing to behold from the air. Opportunities for unique photography abound! Of all the things to do in Arches National Park, you’ll see more on this air tour than in three days of world-class hiking in the park.

Mill Canyon Dinosaur Trail

Mill Canyon Dinosaur Trail is a 1.8 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Moab. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.

James our pilot was a star. Super informed on the area, it’s history and especially any matters related to geology. Highly recommend his company for an unforgettable flight after having made the trek on ground totally different perspective which should not be missed.

After an umpteenth morning visit of Dead Horse Point, I decided to go to Canyonlands field to show up at the Redtail desk. Once there there were no visitors at all and so no planned tour. The kind lady at the reception asked me if I would accept to wait 30 mn for a private flight in a Cessna 172, just my daughter and I. Of course I did. And Larry, our pilot and guide showed up. A experienced and very friendly person. The flight under beautiful weather conditions was just spectacular. Seeing those landscapes I’ve been visiting from the ground so many times just worth it. We flew Arches and Castle Valley. The ride with Larry’s commentaries was just perfect. He knows the area like his pocket. It was a wonderful moment with great people. The flight was smooth, safe and unforgettable. I will do it again till Monument Valley next time!

We flew with Larry who is extremely knowledgeable about the areas surrounding Moab. Our flight went over Canyonlands and Arches National Parks, but we could see far beyond those areas. A great way to gain perspective and to take in many of the highlights of touring Moab and the areas around Moab, especially if you are trying to take as much in as possible in a short period of time. It was an outstanding experience - one that we will long remember.
