Overview

Travel & Leisure Magazine recently named Art Bikes a "Top Pick"! This guided tour will take you through Jacksonville's historic neighborhoods, exploring our parks, public art and the St Johns River. We cross over the St Johns River on a brand new pedestrian bridge giving breathtaking views of downtown Jacksonville! Explore several historic districts including Avondale, Riverside, 5 Points, San Marco and downtown. All while riding one of our custom electric Art Bikes, each bike has been created by a local artist. The tour is led by experienced locals who will add entertaining, educational commentary to connect riders with the beauty and history of historic Jacksonville which is home to more buildings on the National Historic Register than any other city in Florida. On Sundays we do Sunday Funday Tours which feature local weekend festivals, breweries and other unique stops.

We will ride our electric Art Bikes over the St Johns River on the all new pedestrian bridge called The sUP (shared use path) into Historic San Marco to see incredible homes and river views

My husband and I had such a fun afternoon with Ron riding these besutiful bikes around Avondale, Riverside and San Marco. Ron shared lots of interesting info and fun stories. It was also was a great way to see more of and learn more about Jacksonville.

Ron is an unusually passionate and incredible storyteller. He gave us rich insights about the homes around us. I saw the oldest house in the neighborhood and the biggest house. Ron would point out interesting details about the homes around me I see everyday. Had I not gone, I’d never know. I’m going to go again because I’m sure there’s much more to see. Also that ebike is soooo nice to ride.

Ron was a terrific guide - knowledge of history, architecture and e-bikes. More than 2 hours of touring which gave us a gorgeous picture of this neighborhood. Would sod again in a minutes
