Michelle was our tour guide for the drive up and back on the Dalton Highway. She was very friendly and informative. I was apprehensive about such a long tour, but it moved along well and we had several stops and videos to break up the trip. I was happy to have the 25 passenger coach as the van would have been cumbersome to get on and off of. We were very lucky to see the lights coming out just as we were leaving the Yukon River Camp and stayed in the lot for an hour as we enjoyed the show. The lights had faded by the time we got to Joy, but we were fine with that as we had seen them so well earlier. Dallas took us the final stretch back to Fairbanks and he shared photos he had taken with others whose cameras were not able to get them. He made a special stop and took photos of us with the lights behind us- using his parking lights to light our faces- so great. Thanks for a very enjoyable, but long long day.

It's a long trip but worth every minute of it. I'm from Wisconsin so the snow was';t new. The views and sights were awesome. The information given by the tour guide was informative and interesting and wasn't stumped too often from questions. seeing the pipeline the ground cover clear night skies. It was fun to see others going sledding for the first time and was neat that guide ad sleds available to be used. It was surreal feeling to know and see where the Last power line stops and from there to know you're in the wilderness. Arctic circle Alaska was just my speed and affordable vs going into Real arctic circle. Interesting to see how all the drivers/ vehicles work and look out for each other alng the highway. I'm not a seafood eater but the salmon was very good at Yukon river camp.

A must do in interior Alaska because of the beautiful nature and quality of the guides. We had a beautiful drive (in a bus made for dirt/icy roads) up to the Arctic circle from Fairbanks. The driver/guide/expert was very nice and knowledgeable about the area and answered all our questions. We were in very rural Alaska, but the food at the Yukon trading post for lunch and dinner was surprisingly good too! It was a high quality Asian noodle house! You should wear warm clothing!

Thank you bretste for joining us on your Arctic Circle Adventure. We appreciate you sharing your experience with others and labeling it a "Must do". We will share your positive feedback with the Yukon River Noodle House as well -- them being open this winter and serving those hot soups has really been a plus for our winter visitors. Thank you again for sharing and best wishes for a bright summer! Kathy
