This was a great family actifvity. My wife and I had our five grandchildren ranging in ages from 12-22 on the float with us. Spencer was our guide and he was not only excellent as a guide and instructor in how to manage the raft, and how to paddle effectively, but he was funny and engaging with all of the family members. We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. He also pointed out the sights along the way and told us about each rapid as we went through it. An as a bonus. we saw a family of bighorn sheep along the way, a ram and three ewes. They were hard to see on the cliff above us and he helped us pick them out among the rocks. We hope to do the Royan Gorge trip the next time.
