This adventure-packed trip travels through the 1,100-foot cliffs of the Royal Gorge. The Royal Gorge rafting tour is famous for its steep drops, huge waves, and continuous Class III to Class V whitewater. You will have the experience of a lifetime on this 4-hour adventure. The spectacular scenery and rapids of the Royal Gorge will thrill even the most expert whitewater veteran. Previous experience is not required to raft the Royal Gorge. Suggested age varies with water levels.

Our Royal Gorge rafting trip will take guests underneath the famous Royal Gorge Bridge. Guest can look up and see the bridge nearly 1,000 feet above them.

Love it! If you are looking for some adrenaline rush than white water rafting is a thing to do. Colorado is my favorite summer place.

My husband and I were First time rafters , 59 and 60 yrs old, when we booked the half day Sept 12 Royal Gorge trip. Was a little nervous because it sounded as if it were for more advanced rafters and we were afraid we might not be fit enough for the trip. We had a blast! The folks at Raft Masters are great. When we arrived we were given a locker where we could secure some small items, keys, billfold, shoes etc. Then picked out a helmet and waited to be fitted for a life vest. We then loaded up on a school bus and headed to the drop off point. During the ride the guides gave an informative and detailed safety talk laced with some good humor. Once in the water, Our guide was an excellent and very patient teacher….he maneuvered us down the river without fail. No one in our raft joined the swim team! We had such a great time, we laughed and talked about when we could come back again because we had so much fun. These people know what they are doing and are very organized. They are also very hard workers!!!! Imagine getting a group of complete strangers on a rubber raft and getting them to do what it takes to allow you to guide the boat down class 4 rapids!!!??? Not once, but several times a day !!!!! The water was low during our visit and we hope to come back in the summer when the water is higher.

Wasn’t sure if rafting would be our thing? WELL…. We had an AMAZING experience with Riley and the rest of the Raft Masters staff! They are professional and instilled confidence that the trip would be adventurous yet safe. We experienced nothing but this the whole time down the Gorge section. Thanks for the great adventure, will be back again!!
