Viator does not give you the name of the company with which you are booking until after you have booked, which I find problematic. I thought I was booking a return trip with SpeediShuttle but it turned out to be ViaTrans. Not as good an experience with ViaTrans as I did with SpeediShuttle on the previous trip. I didn’t get a confirmation call or text after booking; when I used Viator’s text function to contact them I got no response; fortunately when I looked up their number and called they did answer their phone right away. I was told to call the same number when I had landed and had retrieved my luggage (I wouldn’t have known that unless I’d called). Once I did call for pickup, I ended up waiting 45 minutes at the airport pickup point for my ride. Their representative was there at the waiting point so that was reassuring; she kept me up to date on when my ride was arriving, but it kept stretching later and later as they lost track of the driver. The driver was friendly and a safe driver, however the vehicles were not as nice as those for SpeediShuttle. Lots of wear on the vehicle, my seat belt was broken, and at the beginning of the trip the driver apologized that the air conditioning wasn’t working as well as it shoud have been (though it was working well enough on the trip). They got me home, but I appreciated SpeediShuttle’s more efficient and comfortable service; I’ll book with SpeediShuttle next time if I have a choice, but would not rule out ViaTrans if needed.
