We would like more history and more talking to the whole group. The food, fir the most part, was just ok.

Very disappointing! Our tour guide, Sarah, was great! The food options were very blah! The first restaurant Lily Pearl was great but then it went downhill. Our next stop was an Ethiopian coffee shop. The was a soy o hospitality when we walked in. Very blah and basic. Our third stop was Mama’s, I think, had even less hospitality. We had to stand outside and eat standing up. The portions were so small and not good. The last two stop revived the tour somewhat.

Many of our guests really love learning about Ethiopian coffee culture, and almost everyone enjoys visiting Mama J's (they only have 20 seats in the restaurant, so when we are a large group we have to stay outside - those catfish nuggets are so worth it!). - Brian, Discover Richmond Tours

The people were strange and so was our tour guide. Did not talk much. Most of the food was poor and would not ear it. Definitely NOT worth the $180 I spent for this. Never again.

Valerie, this is really unfair. Exactly ten minutes before your tour started, you sent us a message that said, "It'll be at least an hour and a half before we get there." You finally arrived in time to experience only the fourth and fifth stop on our tour, so to judge the food on our tour (let alone the other guests and our guide) is inappropriate at best. Regarding the price paid: you booked on Viator, which means you paid more than if you had booked directly on our website. They charge more so that they can keep a 23% commission. There is nothing to be done about that now, but perhaps good to know for next time. Wishing you more success on your next trip! - Brian, Discover Richmond Tours
